A Pageant Queen with 10 titles in various systems Pinky is also a proud National American Miss AZ alumni! Her first NAM debut was in 2005 where she proudly placed in the top 10. She once again vied for the title in 2007 and was crowned National American Miss Arizona Teen. She currently is the reigning 2020 Royal International Ms Philippines and will be competing for the International title July 2020!
Pinky is also a represented talent in Arizona and has appeared in commercials, and print work such as Levi’s, and worked alongside celebrities such as Topher Grace and Anna Farris. Some of her biggest feats include her first job as a performer at the Walt Disney Company, figure skating and cheering for the NHL Arizona Coyotes and formerly known as “Pinky G,” as an on-air radio personality! Pinky utilizes her talents and platform by promoting new uprising artists and influential people and organizations.
With a ravishing career, Pinky added blogging and writing to her growing list. She successfully ran her own blog “HeyitsPink”, and “GuerreroPartyof5”. Pinky’s work has been featured on Buzz Feed, Yahoo! And Thought Catalog. Pinky graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Marketing from Grand Canyon University in October of 2018.
She currently graduated with her Masters of Science in Digital Audience Strategy at Arizona State University through the award-winning Walter Cronkite School of Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism where she currently held a 4.17 GPA. She is currently employed by the Jewish Family and Children Services of Arizona as a Marketing Coordinator as well as work part-time with the NHL Arizona Coyotes in Youth Hockey Development as a Team Member where she is excited to help grow the sport of hockey in the state of Arizona, as well as promote the Arizona Coyotes through the use of various street and ice hockey clinics. And most importantly, work with our community, especially our Youth in Little Howlers, Small Frye’s and Learn-To-Play Hockey!
Pinky also recently completed a year of service through AmeriCorps and is continuing to work with her favorite non-profit organization Maggie’s Place! Maggie’s Place provides houses of hospitality and ongoing support to help pregnant and parenting women in need to reach their goals and welcome them into a community filled with love and dignity. Her duties included helping at the homes, the family resource center and mentoring alumnae Moms.
Aside from wearing these many hats, Pinky is a member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, and continues growing her philanthropic work and most importantly enjoys living in the Valley of the Sun. She is married to her kindergarten sweetheart, Ric and has 3 beautiful children: Skyler-Ian, Spencer and Katelynn and 3 fur-babies: Rally, Ollie and Howwy.
